Laura’s creative spirit thrives when exploring the chaotic but beautiful visual language of botanical scenes and elements through acrylic and oil paint. Born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina, she developed a passion for art at an early age, immersing herself in classes inside and outside of school, developing her skills and techniques. She attended Clemson University, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2025. Her work, rooted in drawing and painting, is characterized by a gestural approach that brings energy and movement to her compositions. Inspired by artists such as Joan Mitchell, Pierre Bonnard, Adam Lee, and Claude Monet, she draws upon their use of color and process to inform her artistic practice. Currently, she continues to integrate creativity into her daily life and career.
